All Events, Fairs and Exhibtions up and until June had been completely cancelled or postponed so far. Now also WTM Latin America and the Africa Edition will be both postponed. All our hosted buyer will be notified by WTM directly and can join the new show dates: 20.-22. October 2020

Reed Travel Exhibitions confirms the postponement of WTM Latin America, due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and following the recommendation of the Ministry of Health and Government of the State of São Paulo not to hold events with more than 500 people. The 2020 edition will remain at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, and will take place between October 20–22. 

 Luciane Leite, director of WTM Latin America, said, “Our thoughts go out to everyone impacted by coronavirus.  We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 escalation.  We made this difficult decision after numerous conversations with our exhibitors, partners, participants, suppliers and employees and we are eternally grateful to them for their unconditional support. These are truly unprecedented times, but if we work together we will emerge stronger.” 

 Reed Travel Exhibitions reinforces its commitment to prioritize the health and safety of everyone involved in organizing the eighth edition of WTM Latin America. “We are working to deliver an impeccable pavilion in October, committed to offering a more productive, efficient, sustainable and responsible event,” said Leite.

Reed Exhibitions Africa has confirmed that Africa Travel Week, which comprises of World Travel Market Africa and International Luxury Travel Market Africa, due to take place in April this year, will now be postponed following the escalation of COVID-19 Coronavirus around the world.  The event will now take place again in 2021.

In a statement released today, Carol Weaving, Managing Director of Reed Exhibitions Africa said: “We have had to respond to the current coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and the ongoing conversations with our customers whose welfare is our number one priority.  Due to the uncertainty in the region and around the world, with many of our clients facing company travel bans, we have taken the decision to postpone the event to 2021, which was due to take place from 02 – 08 April 2020.  Our thoughts are with all those affected in these difficult times.”
