A plea to Germany
More than five million german tourists visit Turkey every year (2019) so that obviously the absent of German tourists has a big economic influence on turkish tourism. However the European borders are not opened yet and Turkey is on the list of risky regions in terms of  the Cornavirus. Soyer found clear words for this situation: „We think that Germany made a rushed wrong decision by declaring Turkey as a risky region”. Soyer appeals to representatives to support his plea as preparations and concepts have been taken to cope with the challenging situations.
