“Panama is a little explored and undiscovered destination that promotes sustainable tourism. Aimed at tourists interested in the importance left by their mark; that is, aware of the social impact that its presence has in the communities it visits, that it contributes to the local economy and the native peoples,” said Jose Ramón Icaza, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP).
In this framework, the CCIAP, with the support of the Panamanian Hotel Association (APATEL), the Tourism Promotion Fund (Promtur Panama), and the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) advance in the preparations for the eleventh edition of EXPO INTERNATIONAL TOURISM 2022, which will take place on March 25 and 26 at the Panama Convention Center, located in Amador.
“We are ready to receive these international buyers and let them know the product we have both in terms of tourism for meetings, conventions and events; as well as leisure, adventures and multi-destination products,” said Monique de Saint Malo, president of the Organizing Committee of Expo Turismo Internacional 2022. “Panama is safely open to the world and is eager to show visitors a country that live for more Expo Turismo Internacional is the ideal place for them to get to know the Panamanian offer, since we will bring everyone together under one roof.”
