The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) has today announced details of its highly anticipated Knowledge Program for the 2024 event to be held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in Australia.
The theme for 2024, “The 4Ps of GLOCALISATION”, draws inspiration from the AIME global community’s wish of harmonising the relationship between global insights and local nuances.
Exploring the intricate dynamics of glocalisation's transformative impact will be two magnetic keynote speakers.
With a career spanning more than 25 years at some of Australia’s best known consumer brands - including as Coles, Tourism Australia, Westpac, Telstra, Visa International, David Jones and Carlton & United Breweries - Lisa Ronson is an award-winning marketing executive with an extensive track record of building strong consumer brands, leading high-performing teams and growing retail sales and market share.
Bestselling author, TV host and founder of the 100 Things movement Sebastian Terry, integrates individual evolution with professional development and his one-of-a-kind story has become a powerful catalyst for personal growth and organisational transformation.
Hosted and curated by BEAM Founder and Chief Engager and 2024 AIMEbassador El Kwang, the Knowledge Program will launch AIME on 19 February 2024. Joining the keynote speakers from AIME’s speaker bureau partners Saxton Speakers Bureau (Saxton) and ICMI Speakers & Entertainers (ICMI), a mix of industry business leaders and renowned professionals will address more than 600 global event professionals attending the Knowledge Program on the first day of AIME 2024.
Breakout sessions across the day will highlight how to align a “Glocalisation” mindset with the pivotal 4Ps - People, Planet, Purpose, and Profit - to achieve deeper brand engagement and sustainable business success.
AIME Event Director Silke Calder says the 2024 Knowledge Program will provide unparalleled insights and inspiration for event professionals working across corporate, association, not-for-profit and supplier sectors.
“We reflected on the feedback from last year’s program and are excited to work with El Kwang of BEAM and a passionate Advisory Committee to carefully curate a program that aims to spotlight luminaries and trailblazers, fostering an environment where participants can select the specific ‘P’ that resonates most profoundly with their unique business objectives and professional growth,” she says.
Lisa Ronson says she hopes with her keynote address Knowledge Program attendees will gain a practical and principles-based approach to apply to create better leadership and stronger cultures.
“I’m excited about sharing real world examples of what to do - and just as importantly, what not to do - to improve the culture of an organisation, or any group,” she says.
Sebastian Terry says he is looking forward to sharing his story at AIME and imparting a framework that will allow Knowledge Program attendees to create and activate their most meaningful goals.
“To me, Glocalisation is the idea that the foundation to creating a thriving and connected community is ensuring that we empower individuals and local teams to become the best version of themselves within a like-minded network,” he says.
As part of the 2024 Knowledge Program, Geelong’s future convention centre, Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre, will sponsor an exclusive food and beverage showcase across the day’s programming.
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) Chief Executive, Natalie O’Brien AM says: “As the future operators of Nyaal Banyul, the centre will embody this year’s theme of ‘Glocalisation’, highlighting the rich offerings of the region and providing unique experiences for attendees, while incorporating global insights and trends.”
