Zagreb, April 4, 2025 – The 7th edition of MEETEX – the Croatian Meeting Experience Summit took place from April 1–3 at The Westin Zagreb Hotel, bringing together the very best of Croatia’s meetings and events industry under one roof. As one of the rare B2B events in Europe focused exclusively on a single country, MEETEX continues to position Croatia as a premier destination for business events.
Over the course of three dynamic days, around 60 international hosted buyers from nearly 20 countries and 4 continents—including the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico and UAE—held almost 2000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings with Croatian MICE suppliers, including top hotels, DMCs, PCOs, and service providers. The event also featured engaging keynote sessions by industry experts Sandra Loidolt and Rob Davidson, offering valuable insights into global trends.
Networking extended far beyond the meeting floor with vibrant social evenings, city-themed dinners, and entertainment-filled receptions. Attendees enjoyed a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere enhanced by thoughtful touches such as massage corners, live music, and a permanent coffee lounge. MEETEX 2025 was organized in collaboration with key partners: the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Zagreb Tourist Board & Convention Bureau, and under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. Post-event FAM trips took selected buyers to explore Croatia’s leading destinations including Dalmatia, Kvarner & Istria, Dubrovnik, and Zagreb.
The event once again confirmed Croatia’s rising reputation as a sought-after MICE destination, delivering a perfect mix of business, education, and authentic local experiences in a setting filled with good vibes and inspiring connections.
