Langtang Region Trekking

Langtang region trek is one of the most beautiful treks in Nepal which has been in the shadows of Everest (8,848 m) and Annapurna (8,091 m) from the very beginning. This is the very region which was destroyed by the 2015 earthquake followed by the avalanche. However, that was some years back and people have already constructed hotels lodges and have started welcoming tourists.

Langtang region trek is still beautiful and now it is more off the beaten now. This region is famous for several things; one for the settlers namely Tamangs, second, its wildlife and some rare species of animals and third, some rare flora and fauna. The region as well comprises of Helambu, which lies immediately north of Kathmandu. This region as well has unique settlers of Hyolmos, who are different tribe of Sherpa people.

ITINERARY:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation

Day 03: Drive to syabru besi.

Day 04: Syabru to lama hotel

Day 05: Lama hotel to langtang

Day 06: Langtang to kyanjin gompa

Day 07: Rest day

Day 08: Kyanjin to lama hotel

Day 09: Lama hotel to thulo shyapru

Day 10: Thulo Syabru to sin gompa (chandan bari)

Day 11: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake

Day 12: Gosainkunda to phedi

Day 13: Phedi to tharepati

Day 14: Tharepati to melamchi gaun.

Day 15: Melamchi gaun to Tarke Gyang.

Day 16: Tarke to Sermathang

Day 17: Sermathang to Baruwa (Camping overnight)

Day 18: Baruwa to melamchi bazaar (drive to Kathmandu).
