The Golden Ring
The tourist route includes old cities and towns, as well as folk craft centers that made a significant impact on Russian history. The exact number of people who live in the Golden Ring area is still not determined. Some sources say about 12, other about 8, and sometimes even dozens of cities and towns are included in the area.
