Everest Base Camp Trek

This 15-day adventure will take you to where New Zealander Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay of Nepal stood before their renowned ascent of the world’s tallest mountain - Mt. Everest (8848m).

You have a great opportunity on this 15-day trek to Everest Base Camp (EBC - 5365m) to follow in their footsteps to where they launched their assault on the mountain. You will trek through the UNESCO and World Heritage-listed Sagamartha National Park and visit the famous Tengboche Monastery from where you can view Mt. Everest and other 8000 meter peaks like Lhotse (8516m) and Makalu (8463m). For an even closer view of Everest, we will head up to Kala Patthar (5643m) in the early pre-dawn. It is the closest viewpoint of Mt. Everest. At EBC you can see the Khumbu Glacier descending down the face of Everest.
