Day one (1): From Nalemuru Gate to Simba Camp
After an early breakfast in your hotel you guide will pick you and start with a three hour drive to rongai gate where all formalities will be handled and thereafter start our hike that will first pass though maize and potatoes plantations and then to montane forest.

Day two (2): Trekking from Simba Camp to Kikilewa Camp
On this day we ascend to the second camp where lunch will be offered.

Day three (3): Trekking from Kikilewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp
Immediately after breakfast we will face a short but steep climb up grassy slopes, which will offer us magnificent superb all round views.

Day four (4): Trekking from Mawenzi Tarn Camp to School Camp
After breakfast we cross the lunar desert of the saddle in the midst of Kibo peak and Mawenzi peak to Kibo huts at the bottom of kibo’s crater wall.

Day five (5): Trekking to Uhuru Peak and descent to Horombo Camp
An early rise around midnight and begin our challenging hike to the highest peak in Africa.

Day six (6): Descent from Horombo Camp to Marangu Gate
We will have a long descend trek to marangu gate where certificates will be offered to certify that you achieved to reach at the highest peak and a car will be waiting to transfer us to Moshi.
