Gokyo Ri-Trek
Gokyo Ri is a trekking peak located in the Everest region of Nepal. The trek to Gokyo Ri is a popular alternative to the more well-known Everest Base Camp trek, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains and the Ngozumpa Glacier.

The trek typically begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a trek through the villages of Phakding, Namche Bazaar, and Dole. Along the way, trekkers will have the opportunity to experience the unique culture and traditions of the Sherpa people.

As trekkers approach Gokyo Ri, they will pass through the village of Machhermo and witness the stunning Gokyo Lakes. The climb up Gokyo Ri itself is steep and challenging, but the reward at the top is worth it - panoramic views of some of the highest peaks in the world, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu.

The trek to Gokyo Ri typically takes around 12-14 days and is considered a moderate to difficult trek. Trekkers should be prepared for high altitudes, steep inclines, and variable weather conditions. However, the incredible views and unique cultural experiences make the journey well worth the effort.
