10 days Kilimanjaro Northern circuit route
The Kilimanjaro Northern Circuit Route is one of the less-traveled and longer routes to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. It typically takes 9 to 11 days to complete the trek. begins at the Londorossi Gate, which is located on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. This gate is situated at an altitude of approximately 2,250 meters (7,380 feet) above sea level and ends at the Mweka Gate, on the southern side of the mountain. Mweka Gate is at an elevation of about 1,630 meters (5,380 feet). This is where trekkers complete their descent and finish their journey on Mount Kilimanjaro.

The Northern Circuit Route is known for its scenic beauty and solitude, making it a unique and less crowded option for climbers. It is the longest route to the summit, covering a distance of roughly 98 kilometers (61 miles) in 9 to 11 days. The route offers diverse landscapes, from rainforests to high alpine deserts and glacial zones. Trekkers experience excellent acclimatization, which increases their chances of reaching the summit successfully.
