THE BEST 7 DAYS KILIMANJARO CLIMBING TOUR VIA RONGAI ROUTE
The Rongai Route is a special way to climb Kilimanjaro, starting from the northeast, where Tanzania meets Kenya. It's like taking the road less traveled to experience Kilimanjaro from a fresh angle.
Unlike other routes, the Rongai path doesn't allow for the "climb high, sleep low" strategy. Because of this, climbers often feel the effects of altitude more. If you choose this route, it's highly recommended to add an extra day for acclimatization.
One interesting twist on the Rongai Route is that it uses the scree trail to reach Gilman's Point from Kibo Hut, and then descends through the Marangu Route.
The key difference between the Rongai 6-day and 7-day routes is an extra day for acclimatization at Mwenzi Tarn, which can make your journey more comfortable and safer.
