Tarangire National Park is a protected wildlife area located in Tanzania, East Africa. It is situated in the Manyara Region of Tanzania, approximately 118 kilometers (73 miles) southwest of the city of Arusha.This Park is known for its lovely landscapes, diverse wildlife and iconic baobab trees, making it a popular destination for wildlife lovers.
The name Tarangire National Park comes from Tarangire river that crosses the park. This 1day safari gives you a great opportunity to see different animals like elephants, lions and buffalos as well as leopards and cheetahs. You can also see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and other animals in the grassy areas. Baboons like to hang out near the water. There are special dogs called African wild dogs, and lots of birds too, over 500 kinds! Some snakes and lizards live there too. This tour starts from Arusha and end up in Arusha.
