8 Days Great Serengeti Migration Tanzania Safaris: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater
The 8-day Great Serengeti Migration Tanzania Safari offers a unique experience crossing the Mara River between Tanzania and Kenya. The tour begins with a transfer from Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park, the third-largest national park in Tanzania, where you will witness a full day of game drives and witness the majestic migration of elephants, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, baboons, blue and vervet monkeys, and warthogs.After that, you'll travel to Lake Manyara National Park, where you may see a wide range of animals, such as warthogs, baboons, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, hippopotamuses, and blue and vervet monkeys. To provide a comprehensive experience, lunch boxes are provided during the about five-hour ride.
The following day, you will travel via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to reach Serengeti National Park, where you may see native trees, birds, and vast herds of migrating animals. You will explore the North Serengeti Mara River the following day, where you may see the amazing wilderness migration.
Start your last day of private safari with breakfast at your lodging and head to the world's largest intact caldera, the Ngorongoro crater rim. Observe the Big Five and have a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before returning to Arusha/Moshi.
