EMPANADAS COOKING CLASS -WITH LOCAL WOMEN-

It is a project founded by women who live in disadvantaged neighborhoods which promote generating spaces where through the kitchen they can get together to talk about the problems they are immersed in and share knowledge. Whether it's about domestic violence, women trafficking, family, life... among other issues.
These spaces allow them to have a place where they can converse and support each other.
This project has a little bit of support from the Sub-secretariat of Habitat and Inclusion of Buenos Aires City Government inside the programme of Women and Habitat.
Objective: That women of several neighborhoods generate links between them with the kitchen as a tool.
The objective of the tour?
Generate a Face to Face contact between the passengers and these local women.
A space where they can share knowledge without borders.
They open their doors to our passengers in order to enjoy a unique experience!!
Each week they meet in a house or dining room in the neighborhood and exchange recipes from their countries and communities. The meetings end with a lunch where everyone tastes the dishes that they prepared together following the indications of who carries the recipe of the week. Duration: 02.30hs. Link.
