Where is the Northern serengeti
The northern part of Serengeti national park is found between the central part of Serengeti national park and Masai Mara national reserve in the south western part of Kenya. The Northern Serengeti offers a diverse range of habitats, including open grass plains, riverine forests, and rocky outcrops, providing a home to a wide variety of wildlife species. In addition to the iconic large mammals, you can also spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, and numerous bird species. The region is home to several well-known landmarks, including the Mara River, which becomes a significant obstacle for the migrating herds during their journey. Witnessing the dramatic river crossings as the wildebeest navigate through crocodile-infested waters is a highlight for many visitors.
