5 DAYS AND 4 NIGHTS IN SOUTHERN TANZANIA

Overview:
Experience 5 days and 4 nights of safari adventure in the Selous Game Reserve. With an
area of 55,000 km2 Selous is Africa’s largest game reserve. View the spectacular wildlife of
Selous Game Reserve, Udzungwa Mountain and Mikumi National Park.

Day 1: Dar Es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve
Despite being Africa’s largest game reserve, only few tourists visit every year. This is we won’t
come across many other vehicles on our game drives, allowing us to have a unique and
almost untouched experience of the wildlife. After breakfast, we will head to Selous Game
Reserve. Lunch will be served en route and once we reach the camp we will go on an
evening boat safari or walking safari of 2 to 3 hours. Afterwards, you can sit back, relax and
enjoy your dinner at the Kinga Lodge, where you will stay for the night
Day 2: Selous Game Reserve
After an early morning walking safari we will depart for a full day of game drive in the Selous
Game Reserve. Lunch will be served in the park. Back at the Kinga Lodge, we will have
dinner again.
Day 3: Selous Game Reserve - Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, we will depart to drive to Mikumi National Park. A packed lunch will be served
on the way. In the evening you can enjoy an evening game drive at Mikumi until sunset.
Dinner will be served at the TanSwiss Lodge, where you will be staying overnight.
Day 4: Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, we will start our full day of game drive in Mikumi National Park. Enjoy a
picnic in the park for lunch and see Mikumi’s rich wildlife, it is known for. In the evening we
will be back at the TanSwiss for dinner, where you will be staying again.
Day 5: Mikumi National Park - Udzungwa Mountain - Dar Es Salaam
After a big morning breakfast, we will gather all our belongings and drive to Udzungwa Mountain
for trekking, later we will head back to Dar Es Salaam.
