Experience the golden hour cruise of old Muscat on board a traditionally designed Omani wooden Dhow. The word ‘dhow’ means all traditional wooden-hulled Arabian boats. The current designs mimic the old fishing wooden boats used around Muscat, with a lot more space comfort, and optional catering for events. Starting with the natural coastline of south Muscat, this cruise sails past fishing villages, Portuguese watch towers and forts, old Muscat landmarks, and stops with a view of Mutrah Souq and the surrounding mountains, whilst the sun sets behind them. This tour covers the natural beauty of Muscat’s coastline, the last few remaining fishing villages, historical cemetery bay, Portuguese structures, the Sultan palace, and Al Bahar street.
