4 Days Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru Safari

DAY 1: NAIROBI-MAASAI MARA
We will pick you from the Airport/Hotel and drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewing point to take photos of the historical escarpment. Masai Mara is part of the Serengeti vast plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration, and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. You will have an introductory game drive on this day. We later drive back to the camp or lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 2:MAASAI MARA FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
Breakfast which will later be accompanied with a game drive at Mara Reserve. The reserve boasts of hosting400 bird species, 95 mammalian species, amphibians and reptiles. Wildlife is abundant at Mara ; hence the Big five is predominant. Break for lunch at the Hippos pool. In the afternoon one can opt for the various optional activities, which are a visit to the Maasai people community or a hot air balloon safari of the reserve. Dinner and Overnight at the camp.

DAY 3:MAASAI MARA-LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast, you will have an opportunity for a cultural tour which is known as Maasai village tour from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. Then we’ll depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch en-route, followed with a boat ride at Lake Naivasha. The Lake Naivasha is home to species of birds including migrating birds, eagles and others. This is the place you will be closer to hippos during a boat ride. We’ll then proceed to Lake Nakuru, arriving late in the evening at your hotel or Lodge.

DAY 4:LAKE NAKURU-NAIROBI
In the morning after breakfast, you will go for a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. The famous Lake Nakuru attracts vast numbers of fabulously coloured pink flamingos to its shallow waters. Hippos, black rhinos, giraffes, lions, leopards and a profusion of birds are also present at the lake. We will exit the park at 11:00 am and drive to back to Nairobi arriving late evening.
