Following your exploration of Lucerne, enjoy some leisure time to indulge in the finest cafes nestled in the historic Old City or along the picturesque lakeside, tailored to your preferences. Your adventure continues with a scenic boat trip from Lucerne to Weggis, where you'll embark on an exhilarating ascent to the summit of Mount Rigi via an aerial cable car.

As you ascend, prepare to be mesmerized by the majestic vistas of the Bernese Alps, including the iconic peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, as well as breathtaking views of 13 lakes spanning the Swiss landscape.

To reach Mount Rigi, you have two options: either take the scenic boat trip from Lucerne or opt for a direct drive to the cogwheel station.

If you choose the boat trip, your route will include:
A scenic boat cruise from Lucerne to Weggis.
Ascent via the mountain railway from Weggis to Rigi-Kulm.
Descent via the mountain railway from Rigi-Kulm to Rigi-Kaltbad (or Weggis).
Return descent via the aerial cableway from Rigi-Kaltbad to Weggis.
Optional return cruise by boat from Weggis to Lucerne.
